Speaker 1: Hey guys, Mitch with Big Dog here. A question that we get quite often is, "Will my solar system cause roof leaks?" To understand the question and if you're unfamiliar with how they mount, I'm here to put your heart at ease and show you a little bit of the tricks of the trade. So let's take a look and see how this works. Okay, so what we have here is our little display set up, and this gives a good example of how we mount these in most cases. What we have is our racking, we have our angle wire mounting bracket, and then we have our flashing piece that goes up underneath your existing shingles.

S1: So those will be tucked up. It actually can fit under two layers of shingles, so all the water runs off and flows down just like any other piece of flashing on your roof or vents or whatever you have on your roof that roofers would install. So there you have it, that's how they're installed, that's how we prevent those leaks. There's always gonna be a little risk, but you should feel very comfortable with the way those are set up. We've had very, very few problems. In fact, less than one-tenth of a percent of our installs have had any sort of roof leaking issues. So you're in good hands with Big Dog. See you later.
